Description

Please be alert to the fact I'm NOT the one who rendered this...you may recognize it in part from the original XPS art I created here.

charlesws.deviantart.com/art/H…

But as you can see, the render of that art is very different and builds on my foundation in beautiful ways because of someone else entirely. I've told you about her before, my sweet and wonderful friend, Ygure. :huggle:  She wanted to collaborate with me because we have two loves in common: XPS and the amazing couple Heather/Cheryl Mason and Rebecca Chambers, aka Hecca. What you see here literally couldn't have been possible without her, and I really feel improves on what I started in some ways. The same can be said for the second part of "Facing Her Fears", which she also rendered! To my sweet Ygure, thank you very much once again! :huggle:

For this and Part Two, you'll find the credits for the models in my original works, but I wanted to carry the story over for the renders. So read on! :)

Part One:
Sometime in the future, after Judgment Day...as the love between Cheryl and Rebecca has made them literally inseparable...Cheryl has just driven Rebecca home from work...

As they approached the apartment, arm in arm, Cheryl asked, "Becca, why are you getting so nervous?"

Rebecca answered in a distracted way, "Oh, it...uh, it's nothing, honey."

"Are you sure? I wouldn't look into your thoughts to see for myself, but I can tell something's up."

"Uh, well...hey, we're home!" She unlocked the door and they stepped in... "Anyway, um...I kind of had a surprise for you."

Cheryl gave her lover a look. "I'm not crazy about surprises, Becca...and why, exactly?"

With a disarming smile, the BSAA agent said slyly, "Oh, no reason. It was something I really wanted to do for you. Close your eyes!"

"Huh?"

"Go on, honey. Please?" The look in her eyes virtually begged Cheryl to relent...

...and Cheryl couldn't resist, of course. She sighed, "Okay..." She closed her eyes. Cheryl felt a soft, loving kiss on her lips that was so wonderful.

She heard Becca say, "Be right back!" And she heard the girl's footfalls hustle off quickly...to another room...she heard some kind of rustling, like Rebecca was getting something...and then she heard a loud, excited yip!

Cheryl's mouth almost dropped open...she said apprehensively, "Becca, what -- ?"

"Open your eyes, Cheryl!" Cheryl did...reluctantly...and she felt the bottom drop out of her stomach as fear gripped her being hard. Rebecca was standing before her with a small Labrador puppy in her arms...Becca said brightly, "Surprise, honey -- !"

"Wh-what the HECK?!" Cheryl suddenly spun around to put some distance between herself and the dog...she stopped just as quickly, but...she couldn't look back.

Rebecca began softly, "I know what you're going to say, Cheryl -- !"

She saw Cheryl's face half turn to her, half-fearful and half-annoyed. She said, "Good, because you should know how I feel about dogs! Wh-why the hell...!" She wrapped her arms around herself defensively.

"Please give me a second, honey. You know how much I love you, and it's because of how you feel I have this little guy here! You know I want you to be happy, right?"

"Y-yeah, but -- !"

"And I'd do anything to make you happy, honey. Anything."

"I'd do anything for you too, Becca. I love you."

Her heart soaring, Rebecca nodded deeply. "I love you, too...more than life itself. That's why he's here. You're never going to be happy unless you face your fears, honey. He's here to help me help you. That's all."

Cheryl sighed deeply, yet shakily. "Becca...I understand what you're trying to do, but -- !" But it was so out of the blue, so unexpected...!

Her sweet, sweet lover implored, "Honey, come on. Look at this cute little guy's face! Please?" Almost in spite of herself, Cheryl turned...and she almost winced at the sight of beautiful Rebecca holding the dog, petting his head gently. Rebecca cocked her head adorably and asked innocently, "Really look at him. You have no reason to be scared of him...do you?"
